Teaching on Speaking Style
Your speaking style is the way you communicate with other people. It is comprised of your body language as well as what you actually communicate. Body language accounts for 80% of how people interpret your message. so it’s crucial to ensure your body language aligns when your message.
Teaching on Distorted Filters
We all receive information through the lens of our own personality style, which can create a disconnect between what the other person says and how we interpret the message. Learning your distorted filter will drastically decrease the amount of misinterpretations in communication.
Communication Worksheet
Each participant will be prompted to review their communication style (body language, blindspots, and distorted filters) and choose one thing they’d like to change. While not everyone is required to share, we do strongly encourage it as sharing allows for understanding on how to best work with each other.
